Perform Miracles

A frog getting ready to cross the river came upon a scorpion. The scorpion said to the frog, "Mr. Frog, I would like to cross; would you please carry me to the other side?" The frog said, "Are you crazy? Scorpions sting frogs and kill them." "Mr. Frog, " replied the scorpion, "with your frog brain you're not thinking. If I sting you and you drown, we will both die." The frog said, I guess that makes sense." When they got out to the middle of the river, the scorpion stung the frog. As they both were going down and about to die, with his last breath the frog said, "Why did you do that? Now we are both going to drown." The scorpion replied, "Because I am a scorpion; it's my nature." You cannot change the nature of the world. However, rather than cursing the planet for its darkness (judgmental, close-minded, cruel, materialistic). . . light a candle.
