Commercial Ice Cream can Kill You
Source: Pfeiffer, C.
Mental and Elemental Nutrients, New Cawaan, Conn. Keats. 1976 p. 42.
Some
manufacturers add CMC (carboxymethylcellulose) to stabilze and inflate it. Thus
the ice cream is sold by volume. You recieve less real ice cream per scoop. CMC
is also used in soap.
Commercial ice cream flavors artificially
produced:
strawberry - amyl acetate (plastic solvent)
pineapple - ethyl
acetate (another solvent)
vanilla - by pipernonal (which also kills
lice)
