Adjustments Relieve Hysterectomy Need

This case study discusses a woman who visited her chiropractor complaining of pain in her back and thigh. During the examination, she revealed that she was also being treated medically for daily uterine bleeding that had been going on for more than two months. She was scheduled to have a hysterectomy for it the next week.
The chiropractor completed his examination of the spine, adjusted her according to what he found, and sent her home. She returned the following day to report that the pain had become almost undetectable, and that the bleeding had been reduced to spotting. The chiropractor adjusted her again, and by the following day, "both the pain and the bleeding had completely disappeared.
The patient decided on her own to cancel the hysterectomy so she could monitor her progress. After a year and one brief recurrence of the bleeding, which an adjustment again relieved, she underwent a complete gynecological exam and received a clean bill of health.
The author, who was the chiropractor involved, emphasizes that medical doctors and chiropractors must work together in such cases, and that this woman's experience does not guarantee that other women with similar problems will necessarily achieve the same result. - D.
